1971 Avion V-25 — 1971 AVION VOYAGEUR 25'.  Everything is original and in great condition!  (It was stored for ten years.)  It has four new tires.  There is a wonderful stereo and speakers in several areas.  There is a 7 cubic foot refrigerator and freezer that works well, a custom built spice rack, decorative mirrors, lots of storage including extra storage compartments in underbelly.  The bathroom has a new toilet, 60" vanity with extra closet and shower.  It also has an extra 110 volt weatherproof receptacle.  There is carpeting throughout.  The couch makes into a bed and there is also a double bed.  The kitchen is complete with a large pantry, broom closet, stainless sink, nice built in stove and has a pull up dinette table.   Everything works well.  We need a larger RV (lots of grandchildren). $4,500.00.   The RV is presently in Paris, Missouri.  (10/3/2008).  Please contact: Bill Boone, P.O. 1970 Avion 28' — We are forced to sell our great 1970 Avion Travelcader - a 28 foot long piece of aluminum American history. Overall, it's in nice shape - a couple of small scrapes, no tears in the skin or anything. We recently sold our tow vehicle, so we have no way to tow the trailer. So I have finally given in to my wife's (better) judgment, and we will sell the trailer. 28' long, from tongue to bumper. We've owned it for over two years. We put new tires on it (less than 700 miles ago) and had the brakes tuned up at that time (two axles = 4 brakes). The fridge works well (makes ice in freezer, fridge is great), though the plastic inside the fridge is warped a bit (supposedly, the previous owner got a bit overzealous with a hairdryer when defrosting it many years ago). The stove works (it's a 4-burner range with an over). The heater works, according to the previous owner, though I have not tried it (and would have an RV mechanic just check it before I do). Ditto the water heater. The water system (fresh water system) likely needs to be replaced. I planned to do it (I will even give you the nice red and blue PEX I planned to use), but now that I am going to sell the trailer, I won't spend the weekend to change out the tubing....it can be your first project! (I am assuming that it all needs replacing, because there are several obvious splices in the water lines, so I think it would be best to just replace them all). The water pump is a Shurflo (it has been replaced). I had the holding tank tested at East End RV - they did so, then they replaced the toilet flange - just needs a commode (RV toilet) to be installed. You can put one in that is just the right height for you. East End RV also replaced the dump valve and the drain fittings for the holding tank. The electrical system seems to all work - the converter works well (both to make 12v DC and to charge the batteries). The batteries are in the original battery box up front - I installed two large 6 volt golf cart batteries, wired in series, to provide serious 12v boon docking power. The battery box wiring and fuses have been replaced, also. The trailer has a newer awning - in excellent shape. Blue stripes. The trailer has three skylights - they don't leak, but I would suggest replacing the plastic covers (they are cheap) because they have hairline cracks and have been sealed. They all open appropriately. The windows are all in good shape, and open as they should. The GIANT front dinette folds down to sleep 2 to 4, depending on the size of the people. There are also a pair of twin beds amidship. Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, if I recall. The bathroom is at the rear (and is original, except that it needs a new toilet to be installed on that new flange). Nice vanity, sink, large closet, drawers, and shower with small bathtub. There are TONS of closets throughout. I have some of the original paperwork. I will include a draw bar with a 2 5/16" ball, and the original weight-distribution hitch setup. I will include two 30 lb (7.5 gallon) ALUMINUM propane tanks, with new OPD valves. The trailer has a newer 7-pin plug (standard) to plug into your truck or van. I am please to inform you that it was through your website that I was able to sell my 1987 Avion trailer to a couple, from right here in California, they have a home just about 10 miles from where I live. That was on June 28th, 2008 about 8:00 AM After receiving the pictures I had emailed them, they called asking if the could see the trailer. Within a few minutes at 8:50 AM they appeared with a Ford 250 diesel heavy duty pick-up, after a few minutes, at 9:00 AM they stated "we will take it." By 11:00 AM I deposited a cashers check for the full price in my bank. As it turned out I had quite a few calls and emails regarding the trailer, about 35 to 40 in all. I am still receiving phone calls and emails. That is why I am requesting that you place a Sold sign on our ad, so all of those interested will be so advised.

1978 Avion 34-W — I purchased a 10.3 Meter Tri-Axle Avion trailer some 3 years ago. I intended to live in it while I built a house after a divorce. Turns out that I have not used it for that and I doubt that I will. The only time I have used it was during deer season. I have not used the plumbing in the trailer. I do know the 12 volt pump has the wire cut. I think the guy that I bought it off of un hooked it to run it on a well. I just installed a new furnace. It has one new Deep cycle Battery & one older one. The Water heater is gas and electric. Looks brand new. But I have never used it. The carpet needs to be replaced. I have considered haveing Hardwood floors put in. (Seen it done in an Airstream......looked nice) Has twin beds in the back. Lots of storage space. All awnings are missing. Screen door needs screen. Stove and oven work great. Frige works great on 110v. Never used it on 12v or Gas. A/C works. I think a good cleaning would do it good. This trailer pulls like a dream. I have a 2005 Dodge 3500 with the Cummins engine. But I think it would pull just fine behind a small block Chevy 1/2 Ton! It has brakes on all 6 wheels. This thing was purchased by a guy that had no idea how awsome the Avion trailers are. I have no intention of going camping. Its just not my thing. I am about to loose my reason to need it for deer season. Would like to see someone get it that will appreciate it and maybe put a little elbow grease into it. These are awsome trailers. 1972 Avion 28-LeGrande — 1972 28' Avion La Grande Travel Trailer -- Couch in front with center twin beds and rear bath floor plan with expandable dining table, dual axle model. Carpet, upholstery and curtains all in good condition. No water damage. Coleman A/C unit. All original owners’ manuals. Awning canvas will need to be replaced. Electric jack, newer tires, 2-way refrigerator and 2-way water heater, 4 burner stove. Original AM/FM/8track tape sound system. Full bath with tub and shower in rear of unit which is the entire width of the camper. The exterior is of the anodized aluminum variety. There are some scratches and dents, but it is in decent shape. The propane tanks are in good condition. We are the 2nd owners having purchased it 4 years ago from the original owners who serviced it regularly at Cayo. 1967 Avion Truck Camper — My name is Judy Riddle and I am interested in selling a 1967 Avion truck camper which right now resides in Cabazon, California. Overall it is in good condition and sound. It has a heater with thermostat. 2 roof vents, the 1 over the bed has a fan. Kitchen sinks are stainless steel. Cupboards are in good shape with all latches in tack. No broken windows. Stove and oven are in great shape. Bathroom is in good shape with toilet, sink, shower and medicine cabinet. Floor is okay, but has stains. It needs a refrigerator door; the inside plastic is cracked. Countertop has a ripple in back corner. The pole for the table is there, but no table top. The cushions would have to be replaced. There are 3 shallow dents on the outside. My brother-in-law used it for his fishing trips a lot, so I am assuming everything works, although it was parked for 5 or 6 years before his recent death. 1968 C-11 Avion Camper — - For Sale 1968 Avion C-11 Truck Camper 1968 ser#FH-022 that needs restored, i.e., redo both wings, floor at entry door, a significant amount of elbow grease to do a major cleanup both interior & external, BUT the body appears in good shape (a small ding upper right rear corner), the refer works as does the A/C (at least they did last summer), the water pump, the vent fans, interior lights all work on 12v. I bought a replacement roof vent w/fan, not yet installed. I have done no more than the right wing, reinforced the position of the jack and STOPPED. The unit needs total restoration, The cushions are missing as are the propane tanks, the jacks are with the unit but had set so long that I have not been able to remove the base from the jacks, a couple of the drawers need rebuilt. The unit is located at 128 South Boston, Galion, OH. We are 60 mi N of Columbus, 90mi SSW of Cleveland, 90mi SSE of Toledo, 12mi W of Mansfield approx one mile off of US Rt.#30.
