| Joe Louis Walker played an acoustic set in the afternoon at the Juke Joint Stage with Robert Lockwood Jr.. I was on the left side of the stage, camera ready, when Joe stepped into the sunshine and gave me this nice photo. |

| Joe then did an electric set in the evening at the Petrillo Music Shell. Here we see him with Steve Cropper. Later Scotty Moore joined in the festivities. A set by Jimmy Dawkins with Billy Flynn preceded Joe's, and Otis Rush followed him. Hot blues on a very chilly early June night on Lake Michigan. |
