Class action lawsuit information

Former students of the Montgomery, Alabama New Horizons are filing a class action suit against that branch and New Horizons corporate, and they are seeking other former students who were sold into the MCSE - NT4.0 track after June of the year 2000.

The claim of the plaintiffs is that New Horizons knew that Microsoft was retiring the NT4.0 track entirely on December 31, 2000(*) and failed to inform the students they signed up that they would have a very short period of time in which to complete their training, pass all of their tests, and even if they suceeded in this, that they would be de-certified a year later if they didn't pass the Win2000 exams.

For more information regarding the lawsuit, or to be put in touch with the lawyers handling the case and the plaintiffs, send an email to jaworkman@earthlink.net and he will give you more information.

(*) - Microsoft later extended the retirement date to February of 2001.
