 Donavan earned 136.16 points and was Reserve Champion at his performance test scoring: rideability (9), willingness to work (9), trot (9), canter (10) and jumping ability (9). He passses on these traits plus his exemplary temperament, correct conformation and striking beauty. He was the 1996 East Coast Elite Hanoverian Licensing Champion (trot 9). Donavan carries two esteemed blood lines: the A line Absatz/Abglanz and the D line of Dirk, Duft II/Duellant. At age 9 Donavan started competing in Dressage moving quickly up the levels, winning numerous USDF awards and Championships at FEI levels with scores in the 60's and 70's. In 2001, Donavan's get continued their sire's winning tradition. Drachen Herz and Damla-Benz earned over 80% from Hilda Gurney at the 2001 Sorensen Park Breed Show Championships. Drachen Herz and Duesenjaeger won the Get of Sire class at the WDCTA Dressage and Breed Show and Drachen Herz was Colts and Geldings Champion. Dexter won a jumping championship at HITS, Ocala, FL. Donavan is also approved by the ISR, Oldenburg N.A. and the Canadian Sport Horse Association.
During Donavan's 2002 Competition season, scores included 70% at I-II and 65% at G.P. from Charles de Knuffy. Drachen Herz in 2002 has continued winning championships and receiving high point Hanoverian awards. |
