The following directions are from Sandi's Segment on the show.
 

Twisting Heart

Materials:
Rubber Nature Art Stamps

Dimensional Heart - #99-6-4 G $10.
Twist Tool- #T2-8D $7.

Vivid Dye inks- Clearsnap
- Raspberry
- Straw
Full size pads $4.50
Mini pads $2.50

    Steps:
1.  Base coat the heart stamp with straw-colored ink.
2.  Ink the Twist Tool Stamp with raspberry-colored ink
and position it directly on the heart stamp.
Twist the Tool stamp 45 degrees.
     Lift and repeat the technique, re-inking the twist stamp
as desired to insure color intensity.
3.  Stamp the image on white paper.
 
 

Twisty Frame

Materials:
Rubber Nature Art Stamps

- Square frame with round opening- #AW14-5H $12.
- Twist Tool- #T2001-4-7E $8.

                Vivid Dye ink- Clearsnap
   - Straw
- Teal
Full size pads $4.50
Mini pads $2.50

Steps:
1.  Base coat the frame stamp with straw-colored ink.
2.  Ink the Twist Tool Stamp with teal-colored ink.
Position it on one corner of the frame stamp.
Using moderate pressure, turn the twist stamp 45 degrees.
Lift it and reposition it to another part of the corner.
Turn it again 45 degrees.
3.  Clean the twist stamp off (so not to contaminate the ink pad) and re-ink.
                         Repeat step #2 in each remaining corner of the frame.
4.  Stamp the image on white paper

Tip:
Treat each corner and side area the same to insure
symmetrical color and design continuity.
 

Pressing Patterns: Maple Leaf

Materials:
Rubber Nature Art Stamps

- bold image maple leaf- #RN2000-6-6E $8.
- wavy ball press tool- #T2-10F $9.

ColorBox Confetti pigment ink option pad $9.

Steps:
1.  Base coat the maple leaf with marigold-colored ink.
2.Ink the wavy ball press stamp with all color except black.
3.  Press the wavy ball stamp onto the rubber of the leaf.
Lift and press repeatedly while rotating the image stamp
to allow for a more even distribution of color.
4.  Stamp the image on white paper.

Tip:
Omit black ink when working with a variety of other colors
because the black ink will diminish the other colors.
 
 

Slide Designs: Square Frame

 Materials:
Rubber Nature Art Stamps

-Square Frame with round opening- #AW14-5H $12.
-Big Slide Tool- #T899-S-2H $12.

Colorbox Metalextra inks
-Copperswift $8.50
-Pheasant Gold $8.50

Steps:
1.  Base coat the frame stamp with Copperswift ink.
2.  Ink the Slide Tool stamp with Pheasant Gold
Metalextra ink and position it at one end of the frame stamp.
3.  Using moderate pressure, and while keeping the two rubber surfaces parallel,
slide the Slide stamp in towards the image center.
 Lift and repeat this process on the other end of the frame stamp.
4. Stamp the image on white paper
 
 

Re-Using Stamps Frame

Materials:
Rubber Nature Art Stamps

-Square Frame with round opening- #AW14-5H $12.
- Big Slide Tool Stamp- #T899-S-2H $12.

Vivid Dye inks- Clearsnap
-Orchid
Full size pad $4.50
Mini pad $2.50

Stylus Tool $5.50 (handle with 2 tips)

Steps:
1.  Clean the frame stamp and base coat it with Orchid Vivid Dye ink.
       2.  Do not clean or re-ink the Slide Tool Stamp.
 Work with the "leftover" ink.
      3.  Starting in the lower right or left-hand corner of the frame,
slide the Slide Tool at an angle in toward the centerof the frame.
Repeat this process in the remaining three corners,
rotating the frame stamp and the slide tool as desired.
 4.  To insure a clean edge line, ink a soft-tipped stylus tool with
Orchid-colored ink and tap the inked stylus
around the border of the image stamp.
5.  Stamp on white paper.

Tip:
For quick and easy creative color and
design effects, repeat steps 1 through 4
several times using a variety of base coat
ink colors and a variety of slide angles.
 

Angle and Drag Leaf

Materials:
Rubber Nature Art Stamps

-Leaf stamp- #2000-9-3G $10.
- Smal Watercolor Tool - #T-99-3-8E $8.

Colorbox petal point pigment inks
-Teal
-Ruby
-Turquoise
- Midnight
-Eggplant

Steps:
1.  Create a multi-colored base coat on the leaf stamp
by randomly inking ith with the first four colors listed for this sample.
2.  In the Watercolor Tool stamp with Eggplant-colored ink.
3.  Position the Watercolor Tool stamp at a 45-degree angle
and using moderated to heavy pressure, drag it through the image.
 Repeat.
 The image will almost look "ink free."
4.  Stamp the image.
 Repeat as many times as desired.
Often, the second stamping is the nicest for this special effect
due to the softness of the color.
 

Angle and Drag Background

Materials:
Rubber Nature Art Stamps

-Mini blank palette- #RN4-3D $7.
-Angle and Drag Tool stamp- #T-RN15-E $8.

Colorbox PaintBox pigment ink $18.50
-Canary and Scarlet

Steps:
1.  Base coat the mini blank palette with canary-colored ink.
2.  Ink the Angle and Drag Tool stamp with scarlet-colored ink.
 Lay the color down on the palette stamp by pressing the
                       tool stamp flatly onto the rubber of the blank palette.
3.  Hold the Angle and Drag tool stamp at an acute angle (approximately 45 degrees).
                          Position one of the longest sides of the stamp
at the upper edge of the palette and drag it (using moderate to heavy pressure)
thorough the image using a zigzag motion.
4.  Stamp on white paper.
