Metalextra metallic pigment inks in
goldrush, burnt copper, pheasant gold,
copperswift, and platinum
two 8" squares and one 5-1/2" square
black card stock
6" square metallic gold paper
straight-edge and deckle-edge scissors
8" square of 1/8" foam core board
8" square black metal frame & glass
Opalescence embossing powder
double-stick tape
glue
adhesive foam spacers
5 decorative buttons or charms

Steps:
1.Randomly stamp ferns with goldrush ink around the border of one 8-inch square of black card stock (figure A). Repeat the process in open areas around the border using burnt copper ink.	Figure A
2. Randomly over stamp around the border using the feather leaf stamp inked with pheasant gold. Attach this artwork to foam board and set aside.
3. Randomly stamp smallest scalloped stamp around border of 5-1/2-inch square card stock using copperswift ink. Repeat in open areas using burnt copper ink.
4. Randomly over stamp around border using the accent leaf stamp inked with goldrush ink.
5. Layer this artwork onto the 6-inch square piece of metallic gold paper. Trim around the gold paper with deckle-edge scissors leaving a 1/16- to 1/8-inch border (figure B).	Figure B
6. Center this artwork and attach diagonally to the stamped 8-inch sheet in step 1 (figure C).	Figure C
7. Ink the scalloped stamp with copperswift ink and stamp on remaining piece of black paper. Then ink the #99-1-12G dimensional stamp with goldrush and stamp on the same paper.
8. Ink the #99-1-15I dimensional stamp with platinum ink and emboss with Opalescence embossing powder.
9. Carefully cut out each scalloped edge dimensional stamp leaving a 1/16-inch border.
10. Clip through each of the non-embossed lines on either side of the hearts on each image (figure D).	Figure D
11. Bend each heart section up. Turn it over and place the sticky side of a foam spacer near the base of each heart section. Center and glue the three "heart flowers " together from smallest to largest and attach to the center of the 5-1/2-inch square diagonal (figure E).	Figure E
12. Accent the corners of that diagonal sheet with buttons or charms (figure F).	Figure F
13. Then accent each "heart flower" center with a button or charm (figure G).	Figure G
14. Clean the glass and place it on top of the artwork. Slip artwork and glass into frame.	Finished Project

Tips:
- When working with Metalextra Inks on
dark papers, stamp out an image at least
twice before re-inking to create a
transparent look. This will give your artwork
more depth.
- When working with buttons with shanks,
either clip the shanks off or slit the foam
core with an art knife and press the shank
into the foam core.
- Use a shadowbox frame when working
with dimensional artwork if you with to
accentuate the 3-D aspect of the artwork.
