My Visit to Cleveland

At Cleveland I visited some really fun places. I went to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
Pro Football Hall of Fame

My visit to the Football Hall of Fame will always remain in my memory. I had a great time. I was able to see the bronze statues of about 205 exellent football players, bothe alive and dead. This year the inductees will be Ronnie Lot, Howie Long, Joe Montana, Dan Rooney, and Dave Wilcox. Above is a picture of the 1999 class.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was also very fun. I was able to learn about the music of the many artists that are imortalized there and see many artifacts from them. The museum was built in Cleveland because many artists were made famous in Cleveland and made their debut there. Also many artist made their homes there. It was officially opened for the first time on September 2nd, 1995.
The Cleveland Museum of Natural History
The Museum of Natural History was one of my favorite museums to visit. It is the home to over one million specimens in many different fields of science. You can see exhibits about the history of the Iditarod dogsled race, an exhibit about bats, and an exhibit showing many valuable gems and minerals.
The exhibit of gems is one of the largest collection of fine gems in the United States. There are over 1,500 gems and minnerals located there. The collection was donated by Jeptha Homer Wade II, who the exhibit is named after.
The bats exhibit was very interesting. I found out many facts that I didn't know about them, and I am no longer afraid of them! I really enjoyed this exhibit.
