My visit to Orlando
I had a great time in Orlando. Orlando is one of the best places I went to to bring the whole family because there are so many theme parks and water parks. I visited Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios.
Sea World
Sea World is an excelent place to bring kids because not only is it a fun time, but it provides an excelent educational time. First opened in 1973, Sea World, Orlando is home to the first killer whale succesfully born and raised in captivity, Shamu. My favorite educational part of Sea World is the Shamu Adventure. You will learn about how killer whales survive in the wild and interact with other whales. My favorite part of Sea World that isn't exactly educational is Journey to Atlantis. Journey to Atlantis is Sea World's first attempt at creating a thrill ride, and they did a spectacular job. You start out with a tour of Atlantis, then something goes drastically wrong with your boat and you take a long steep drop and get soaked with water. It is very fun, and I recomend it only on a hot day.
Universal Studios
Universal Studios is one of my favorite places to visit in Orlando because it is "The only place on Earth you can live the movies". Seariously, all of the rides have something to with the movies they made. My favorite rides were Alien Attack, Earthquake, and E.T. Adventure. Alien Attack is Universal's newest ride and most technical. It simulates you as an agent trainee, and you go around trying to "zap" all of the Aliens that are attacking Earth, but you have to be carefull, because the aliens fight back. Earthquake is probably one of the scariest rides at Universal Studios because it simulates an earthquake, as the name suggests. It is made after the 1974 movie "Earthquake" starring Charleton Heston. You always have to be on the lookout on this ride because you don't know what is going to come next! The best ride for children is probably E.T. Adventure. This ride isn't very scary at all, but it provides an excellent time for children. This ride simulates you riding a flying bike to E.T.'s homeland where you can see thousands of miniatures which look like his homeland. I definately recommend this ride for the children.
Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World is by far the most popular attraction in Orlando. There are so many things for the kids and the rest of the family, it's no wonder it's the most popular. There are four parks to Walt Disney World and each provides an excelent time for the family. The four parks are The Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Epcot Center, and the newest, Animal Kingdom. The first park built was The Magic Kingdom, and it is one of my favorites. The symbol of The Magic Kingdom, and of Walt Disney World, is Cinderella's Castle, pictured above. Animal Kingdom is Disney's newest park, and now, one of the most popular. The symbol of Animal Kingdom is the Tree of Life. I had a great time at Walt Disney World, and it is my favorite attraction in Orlando.
