Bob is married with 2 kids and has several interesting pets including reptiles, amphibians, fish, and mammals. Bob has served on several committees including the Milwaukee Long Range Planning Committee for two years, the WRA State Long Range Planning Committee for one year, the Professional Standards Committee for many years, and was the first Chairman of the newly formed Milwaukee-Waukesha MLS. The Milwaukee-Waukesha MLS committee laid the foundation for what is now the SE-Wisconsin MLS. He has successfully promoted MBR sponsorship of the NHS (Neighborhood Housing Services) 1993 Report to Partners. The first such high profile collaboration with a community based organization. The collaboration of MLS, MBR, Project Hope, and NHS to produce "neighborhood guides" (mini-MLS books) for each organization was successfully organized by Bob for two years. He has also designed and implemented the MAR's first social service program in the area of job creation and minority recruitment called "Focus on Success". This program received NAR support and Bob received from MAR the "Distinguished Service Award-1995" which was the first time it has ever been awarded. Bob also participated with Bill Berland in starting the 100% concept 10 years ago. | |
