This page serves to recruit support for an DC Archives edition for the Golden Age Hawkman. One of the earliest creations of Gardner Fox, the Hawkman was a mainstay of both the Justice Society and the Flash Comics title for over 10 years. In the 1960's, the character was given a make-over in Brave and the Bold Comics and the original version was revived shortly thereafter. In September of 2000, DC released the Silver Age Hawkman Archive, collecting the original adventures of the re-created Hawkman. This effort seeks to encourage DC to collect the original adventure of the Golden Age Hawkman, the exploits that inspired the legend itself.
