At the office

 Aviation

Flying for American Airlines since 1985, I starting as a flight engineer on the Boeing 727, I soon upgraded to co-pilot on the 727 and then the 767 and 757 where I flew internationally out of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Early in 1993 I upgraded to captain on the McDonnell Douglas MD-80. After six years I transferred back to the 767 and 757, this time as captain.

 Home Theater

I have always loved movies. When I bought my home in 1993, I saw the potential for building my own theater in my basement. After several years of planning, and saving, I opened the "Airway Theater"; named after the theater I used to attend when I was a kid.

 Boating

One of my favorite summertime activities is boating. I bought a 27' Carver Santego in the summer of 1991. The boat is kept at a marina situated on the Chain-O-Lakes recreation area 30 miles northwest of Chicago. The EXIDOR, as I christened it, is 31' over all length, with two 200 hp mercruser engines. The inside cabin is equipped with hot and cold running water, head with shower, refrigerator, and comfortable sleeping quarters for four.
