Moscow – Red Square (Red meaning “beautiful”) St Basils in back & Lenin tomb on right Barbara & cousin Alfreda Haas Schmidt on train –Moscow to Samara - 16 hour ride & royal treatment – free vodka, a delicious hot beef stew, beer for .30 a bottle, air conditioning – it was incredible! It was great partying with Alfeda and my sisters until a train official spotted us and complained that we had were in the wrong car – but too late – the stew & vodka were gone!
