Where is Oliver? [Died in infancy according to Fredrick's Obituary] Oliver A. Dake son of Frederick & Caroline (Robinson) Dake appeared as a 4 month old baby in the 1850 census but is missing from the 1860 census. Since he would have been only 10 years old he is presumed to have died before 1860. Frederick and Caroline (Robinson) Dake have 4 children buried in the Dake Cemetery in Shelby Co., IN.; Angeline, Marcus, Mary A., & George W. It is possible that Oliver A. is also buried there but has no marker, marker has been removed (as in the case of Mary A.) or is buried in a different cemetery. -- Owen C.
