Dinosaurs from North Africa, not found in Judith River formation

Spinosauridae are a family of primitive theropods from North Africa.  They had a long body with a rather crocodilian head.  It is thought that they probably fed largely on fish.  These creatures are not found in the Judith River formation.

Spinosaurus aegyptiacus

Spinosaurus is probably the longest of the carnivorous dinosaurs, measuring up to fifty feet in length.  It's name refers to the large (2 meter high) sail on its back.  The sail probably aided in cooling in the hot climate.  It is much more lightly built than tyrannosaurs.  Spinosaurus is known from just some vertebrae, half a lower jaw, and disassociated teeth.

These teeth  were purchased on E-bay and are identified by their sellers as Spinosaurus.  Note that identification and/or locality information on purchased items is frequently suspect.  The material commonly goes through many hands with valuable information (especially location) frequently being lost.
