  • Racine is a city in Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan about 30 miles south of Milwaukee and 80 miles north of Chicago. It is the home of Johnson Wax and the Golden Rondelle theatre, the Insinkerator division of Emerson Electric Co., Twin Disc Inc. and J.I. Case.We live across the street from Lake Michigan, two and a half blocks south of one of the last free zoos in the country. We're also about a half mile north of the Racine harbor breakwater - a wonderful site for viewing the summer fireworks!
