· The History and Management of the Field Spaniel, by Peggy Grayson. This book is out of print and if you find one, expect to pay a lot for it. However, if you are a serious fancier of the breed, the book is invaluable in tracing the historical development of the breed. · Field Spaniel: A Complete and Reliable Handbook, by Becki Wolkenheim. Yes, this one was authored at Calico—same person, different last name. Out of print, the book is often found on eBay.
Newsletters
The Field Spaniel Society of America, Inc. publishes a newsletter for members on a quarterly basis. Contact the Club Secretary for more information by going to the FSSA website.
Internet Groups
There are a wide variety of email groups available. The oldest and largest Field Spaniel email list on the internet, with over 300 members, is hosted through Yahoo! Groups. Just enter Field Spaniel and the group will come up so that you may follow the directions to join the discussions.
