This performance event has become an extremely popular activity for both Field Spaniels and owners alike, and is an event growing in popularity. In agility, dogs negotiate an obstacle course that may include tunnels and jumps and other obstacles depending on the class entered. It is an event that requires training, conditioning (for both dog and handler!), concentration, and teamwork. |

Two types of agility classes are offered, each with a progressively more difficult level of performance. One type of agility is the “Standard” class. The other is “Jumpers With Weaves”. |
Each type also may be initially achievable at the “Preferred” level which involves lower jump height and allows for additional time to complete the course.
A number of titles may be earned in competition, with the highest level of achievement known as the MACH which stands for Master Agility Champion.
