NEWS and STUFF
As 2003 come closer to an end, we ponder on the events
and challenges of the last year and look forward to 2004.
In many ways, 2003 was a rough year for our family. Dave's
maternal grandmother died this year as did his best friend
Ralph (of Photoart days). Brenda lost three aunts (Diane, Carol and Pat)
and a great aunt (Nancy) this year. We are both quite tired of funerals by
now.
On the good news front, we celebarted three weddings
this year.
Dave's cousin, Erin, Brenda's niece, April and a dear friend of ours, Dija,
all tied the knot this year. We wish all of them a long life filled
with love and happiness.
Dave's parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June
of this year. A wonderful party, with great weather, family and friends
rounded out a fine celebration.
After two years, Brenda has gotten
a lot more comfortable at her job,
although there are days she would sell her customers and some of
her co-workers for a plug nickle. While the stress can get to her now
and then, for the most part, she likes her job.
The big news at Peca (Dave's job) is our move. We
bought a building just
north of Beliot and have been remodeling and moving product in
since mid September. Dave will be moving in there full time on
December 1st. We should be totally moved in and set up by mid to
late December. We never realized how much work is involved in
moving even a small company!
BREAKING NEWS!
On January 1st Dave became a grandfather!
I saw my new grandaughter for the first time on Feb. 7th.
Brooklyn is a beautiful girl with deep blue eyes. I am so proud.
