1998

This was a big year. Had many major entries through out the week. Jim Laasch for leaving his driving license at St. Germain where he bought his fishing license. Katie Laasch for sleeping at the bar and being such a big person for carry Dave at darts all night. Scott Fosbinder for single handily keeping a group of people in the lodge until the wee hours of the morning. (Did I mention he seemed to be drunk??). Kristy Hutter for having a bit of a problem eating her salad in a public restaurant. John Durante for being within 100 yards of the lodge (which was lit up like a Christmas tree) and still had to stop and ask someone, "where did the lodge go" (Did I mention he seemed to be drunk??). With all these entries one would think we would have had a hard time choosing a winner, well... not really. Kevin Berry stepped up the very first day and never stopped trying. Let me count the ways.... Could not get the bedroom door open at 3 a.m. to relieve himself (we all know what happened there). Totally wrecked a prop. Cut the towrope. Went to St. Germain to get gas and drove off with out paying (got about 4 blocks before the cops stopped him). Was taken to the emergence room for an ear infection but not before some of his friends tried to help him out by pouring (I'm not sure what) into his ear at a local bar. This is just a sample of Kevin's week. We had our dice winner no questions asked. Some wanted to give him Mary too, but the committee decided that was not allowed. So, after a long and contested voting process (some people were caught voting twice), Mary was award to John Durante for the "lost lodge" night.
