Upcoming FORGE Events IML Cocktail Party On Saturday, May 27, 2000, the 4th annual IML cocktail party will commence at 2:00 pm in the Congress Hotel’s lobby bar (520 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL). Each year, a growing number of FTMs, trannyboys, femmes, butch Tops and bottoms, high femmes, dyke Daddies, partners, bio-leathermen (and women), admirers, and supporters have come together to join in leather solidarity. Each year, this event is filled with boisterous chatting and hot ‘n’ heavy flirting. All leatherfolk, as well as those who don’t identify with the leather community, are welcome. This year, we are especially trying to draw non-trans IML attendees (which means primarily those sexy, buff leathermen). We will have hundreds of fliers distributed throughout the Congress hotel – especially in the leathermarket areas. One of the best ways to build community between trans+/SOFFAs and the queer community is through direct, interactive education. Ya can’t get much better education than through bringing together people with a common interest, offering a place to cruise, and watching the sparks fly! In years past, many folks have opted to break into groups and head to the huge leathermarket following the cocktail party. To learn more about IML and the leathermarket, point your web browser to: http://www.imrl.com/ Trans Dungeon Party The second annual trans-oriented dungeon party hosted by STRIKE (Strong TransRadicals Into Kink Everywhere) will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2000 from 9:00pm – 3:00am at a private location/dungeon. Soda and food will be provided with the $15.00 admission fee. If you wish to consume beer or wine, please bring your own. (No hard liquor or illegal drugs allowed on the premises.) Standard dungeon rules and guidelines will apply for the party.
