Sm–colors
SM-Colors is an e-mail list for LGBT people of color with an interest in what we refer to as BDSM. These practices can take many forms such as role playing; tying or binding a partner's hands or other appendages; pain play; tickling, and/or a variety of other delicious delights involving the exchange of power in a sexual or pseudo-sexual setting. There is no one way to play. The only absolute is that activities be SAFE, SANE AND CONSENSUAL. For our purposes, a person of color, (POC), is someone who self-describes as: African-American; Black; of African-descent; Latin; Hispanic; Mexican; Mestizo; Native American or any indigenous population, including Australian Aborigine and Maori; Indian; Central American; Arab; Arab-North African; Asian; East Indian; and/or any other person who does not self-describe him- or herself as European white. A POC may also be someone whose primary cultural identification is with any of the peoples listed above.

gl-asb
"gl-asb" is a mailing list for discussion of B&D/D&S/S&M interests and practices involving same-sex partners. This list was set up to provide a forum in which people could focus on specifically same-sex topics. Despite the fact that the "gl" in the list name stands for "gay and lesbian," subscription and posting privileges are not restricted to people who identify as gay or lesbian. People of all genders and orientations are welcome to subscribe. The restriction on this list is one of subject matter, not membership.

bf-bdsm (Butch-Femme BDSM)
The list will be launched shortly, complete with information details.

Letter to the Editor
(continued from page 13)

So I had to screw the tricks, she didn’t. Now once again, that is white privilege. But I’ll tell you, at the time it didn’t feel the greatest.

So there are a few of my thoughts, Michael. Feel free to do whatever you want with it. Of course I ‘m always interested in feedback too, so feel free to also list the email contact I use: dmaxwel@wahs.com. Do note that this email address is not at my home and may be subject to review by someone else. I don’t care what they think about me but I can’t promise that no one else is going to see what someone else writes about themselves.

Diary of a Leatherman
(continued from page 16)

me in electing me president of NLAI, in inviting me to judge at IML, and more.

I'm not a part of dyke community anymore - but neither am I completely removed from it. I'm not a part of gay men's culture since I'm not a gay man - but I still move there more than anywhere else. I'm not a part of het culture, though my relationship looks het - but I can move there with ease and a sense of understanding. It's kind of like being a member of all clubs and no clubs all at the same time.

My transition has been a blessing to me in so many ways but perhaps the most important blessing is that, finally, some 30+ years since I first discovered those three aspects of myself, they have finally coalesced into one happy, healthy, leather transman.
