A new Chief of the Bureau of Navigation has been appointed. Admiral Nimitz has since moved on to command the Pacific Forces, from Hawaii. Hamlin's family and friends, rejoice. A close friend of Hamlin, and fellow newspaper man. C. Ray Hall, had already written a news story about the death of Hamlin for the local newspaper.
