U.S.S. Pennsylvania (BB-38).

U.S. Navy Photo

The USS Pennsylvania ("Pennsy") sat in drydock during the attack. Her paint blistered by fires on board the destroyers, and damaged by a 550 lb. bomb. Those two destroyers, (foreground) USS Cassin (DD-372) and USS Downes (DD-375) suffered extensive bomb damage. Surprisingly, both the Cassin and Downes were rebuilt as new ships in California and rejoined the fleet later in the war.
