S-Gauge New Engines, Rolling Stock, and Structures

Lionel currently holds rights to American flyer which is an asset to the S-gauge community. They are developing better ways to make older engines work and can provide many replacement parts or upgrades. Lionel also produces many Second Release Engine, Rolling stock, and Accessories that were popular in the 50's and 60's.

American Models has developed S-gauge train equipment that runs on high rail (like the old flyer tin track) or scale rail (.100" high). Conversion trucks are available to convert your old flyer cars to shorter scale like rails that would be like the prototype.

NASG National Association of S Gaugers has been promoting S-Scale for over 25 years. This organization has provides support that has kept 1/64 or 3/16=1 foot scale alive since AC Gilbert  stopped producing it. Much information about S-scale and current S-scale events nationwide.
