Aileron Pushrod Boots help to keep cold air out of the cockpit. The lightweight fabric does not add any noticeable resistance to aileron movements, yet effectively blocks most airflow.

A full-size paper template of the nutring is shipped with all orders for boots. It's easiest to install these boots before the wings are attached to the fuselage. However, it is possible to install the boots after wings are in place.
