Appellate Opinions Released October 12, 2006
The Wisconsin Supreme Court did not release any opinions on October 12, 2006.
The Wisconsin Court of Appeals released these opinions on October 12, 2006, recommending the following for publication:
The Lakeland Times v. DNR (records regarding DNR employee's misconduct did not fall within any of the Open Records Act's exemptions, and the public interest in disclosure outweighed public interest in nondisclosure).
Kroeplin v. DNR (same case as The Lakeland Times).
Baer v. DNR (DNR may institute enforcement action even though no third party had filed a complaint and the property owner had not sought a permit or requested other information from the DNR).
