Hispanic Genealogical Society of New York - affiliated with The Puerto Rican Cultural Heritage House, Inc., whose main undertaking is to preserve and disseminate the cultural heritage of Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics.

Ancestors: A Family History Series for PBS has a site which provides a downloadable Teacher's Guide and student activity sheets for all ten episodes of the series, which is scheduled to begin airing on PBS in January 1997. The guide "is designed to help teachers and students in grades 7-12 to use the Ancestors series as a starting point to actively discover their ancestors."

Chinese Historical & Cultural Project Curriculum has excellent lesson plans for learning about the naming of family members in the Chinese culture and immigration, answering the questions: Why did the Chinese Come to America? How did the Chinese Come to America? and What did the Chinese do?

Afrigeneas is a mailing list focused on genealogical research and resources in general and on African ancestry in particular. This page serves as a focal point for information about African-ancestored families and for pointers to genealogical sources worldwide.
