Discussion
Kevin Cook spoke about a recent small car rally at Wisconsin Dells.
Discussion turned to small car fun and gourmet burgers.
We left Southridge and regrouped at Adventures in Gaming. After examining the premises it was decided that our main meetings would be held there too.
Gary Köhler described a new program he is writing for initial orbit determination.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 pm.

We were not able to hold a formal meeting as Milwaukee Magic Cards and Games was closed. It was decided that we should meet at the Southridge Food Court, east end, until a more suitable meeting-place could be found.

Discussion
Gary Köhler showed off his Solar System program, which is now giving numbers you can believe in.
Discussion turned to Borders, error messages, and baking.
Gary Köhler gave an update on DSL at home and the horrors of WarpIn.
Kevin Cook told of how a program called PeerGuardian wound up accumulating a huge database that had to be trimmed.
John Schwarzmeier spoke about a USB cable for a phone.
Kevin Cook spoke about a one-terabyte drive that was really four 320GB drives in one housing. Shades of RAID.
John Schwarzmeier related recent doings at the Game SIG.

Gary Köhler spoke (at length!) about operating system matters, such as BeOS, Brick, and filesystems.
Gary Köhler and John Schwarzmeier described problems with the latter's desktop computer. It doesn't boot Windows and for some reason the recovery console doesn't work once started.

We sought a translation for the word sacudillo, to no avail.

John Schwarzmeier spoke about Watsonmania.

Gary Köhler showed off a recent Foxtrot cartoon with an error concerning dice. Discussion turned to whether fair dice are possible for polyhedra other than regular ones.
(Update) Gary Köhler explained how his modem woes were "spontaneously" fixed. Phone line troubles in New Berlin are now suspected.
John Schwarzmeier is still trying to set up a new joystick.
Kevin Cook asked if anyone has looked up 3 terabyte hard-drives on Google lately. Asked if it will need a new adapter/software drivers for older PCs.
Gary Köhler asked John Schwarzmeier about his recent computer woes, they've been resolved.

Gary Köhler searched online (at Kevin Cook's earlier suggestion) for 3 terabyte hard-drives.
Discussion turned to animal cruelty.

Lastly we looked up System Tool 2011 online, and found what a truly nasty bit of hoaxware it is. This was the program that caused John Schwarzmeier so much grief, and we suggested that he take some of the extra precautions listed in the article.
