Rescue Parade

The Rescue Parade was first held at the 1995 National Specialty, and has long been a sentimental favorite.  Continuing the tradition, we will recognize those special dogs, and the wonderful people who welcomed them into their lives.  This event will be held directly before the Parade of Titleholders.  To enter your rescued Bearded Collie in the parade, please send your name, your dog's name, your address, phone number, and Email address, along with a 75 word statement about your rescued Beardie.  This information may be sent to:

Marilynn Snook
916 11th Ave. South

or to:

Cyndie Reinheimer

Theresa, WI 53901
wyndmist@aol.com

The entry deadline is July 31, 2000.  If possible, please also include the name of the rescuing organization or shelter from which you adopted your Beardie.  There is no charge for entry in the Rescue parade.  If you would like us to include a photo of your Beardie in the souvenir catalog, please send the photo and a $20 (US) fee payable to "2000 Specialty Fund", with your entry.  Clearly print your name, your dog's name, and your address on the back of the photo.  Please see the entry form.

Parade of Titleholders

The Parade of Titleholders is a perfect time to showcase our versatile Beardies.   Any Beardie with a title (performance or conformation) or register of merit title is eligible to enter and strut their stuff.  Entrants in the Parade of Titleholders need not be entered in any of the competitive events at the Specialty.  All entrants will receive a personalized keepsake rosette.  To enter the Parade of Titleholders, the fee is $15, payable to "2000 Specialty Fund."  If you wish to have an ad (one photo) in the souvenir catalog, please send an additional $20, your photo, a three generation pedigree, and any text you wish to include in the ad.  Your ad (including photo) MUST NOT BE LARGER than 6 inches by 4 inches.  Entries and photos are due July 31, 2000.  Please see the entry form. To enter, send the fee, ad copy, and photos to:
