Happy Endings is in desperate need of foster homes.  What are the requirements for becoming a Happy Endings foster home?  Easy!  We need loving homes that will provide food, water, shelter and a safe place to stay until the animals are adopted into permanent homes.  This requires the foster family to bring in their foster pet to Happy Endings during show hours when it is convenient for them.  The more the animal is shown, the better chance it has to become adopted to a permanent home.  Fostering an animal helps us learn even more about the particular animal.  We would know if the animal has been around children, dogs, other cats, etc.  That is very helpful when perspective adopters have questions about the animal.  When an animal is temporarily placed in a home-like foster atmosphere, they are getting the additional attention needed instead of being primarily in a cage.

If you had an animal at your house and it was just not what you expected or just was not working out, Happy Endings would take the animal back for the lifetime of the cat.

Fostering can be a very short-term arrangement or sometimes requires a few months of being in foster care until the right home comes along.
