How to submit your surnames for publication Requirements: A) You must be a member of I.G.S.W. - See How to Join on the home page B) You must have some knowledge that your ancestor came from Ireland. Please submit no more that 5 Irish surnames in the following format: 1) Submitter Information. Full name and address. e-mail address. 2) Surname (Given name optional) 3) Irish Information-- County and Townland or Parish in that order - Indicate if Parish is Roman Catholic (RC) or Civil (CV) - Time period. 4) US Information -- City and State or other appropriate location such as County. Time period. Example Submitter - George Hopeful 1000 Anticipation Dr. Everywhere, WI 00000 e-mail george@genealogy.com Surname - Christy Irish Information - Co. Leitrim, Drumkeeren, Innismagrith (RC) 1815 - US Information - Toledo/Ohio 1854- Keep your information as concise as possible. If they moved many times it may be necessary to give less detail. It is possible to give the Irish Information as "Ireland" or USA Information as the State if no further information is known. Some indication of date should be given.
