Here are a number of places on the web that one or both of us find interesting, useful or fun.

Links to Science-related Sites

ASLO

The homepage of the American Society of Limnology and Oceanography.   There is much here for aquatic scientists of all subdisciplines.

The Talk.Origins Archive

This site contains various files on the evolution/creation debate.   While the quality of the documents varies, it is a valuable resource for anyone who will be debating creationists.

Links to Generally Entertaining Sites

Planet Egomania

There is all sorts of amusing things at this site.   Princess Natalie makes her web pages do all sorts of things.   Just two caveats: First, don't try the "Feed Celine" game.   For some reason, it will make your browser hang.   Second, as much as I love the Princess, she makes a great error when she tells us to always vote Republican!

Richard Harter's World

Here is a site for the eclectically-minded or for any graduate student looking for a way to avoid working on the old thesis.   Richard has produced hundreds of pages on all sorts of topics.   While the collection of jokes on his humor pages seems especially popular, there is also much to provoke thought.   Make sure that you check out "The Reincarnation Game", an attempt to use HTML to produce a new narrative form and "The Mutant Letters", correspondence he received when the producers of the movie The X-men put a link to one of his pages in some of their promotional material.
