Clinics in colored boxes are repeated clinics - look for a box with the same color to find the repeated clinic. Due to the use of colored cells in the schedule table, all links are in black text.

Operations Clinic
On Friday evening and Saturday morning in Conference Suite 135 George Sorenson and Cliff Olson will be hosting a hands-on operating clinic on a 4 x 6 foot layout with two staging yards. This ongoing clinic will utilize command control, a CTC machine and interlocking using Bruce Chubbıs CMRI, and waybill car forwarding.

Building and Planning with Benchwork Dominos 
Dave Nelson 
The benchwork dominos developed by David Barrow create a systematic, disciplined way to design and construct linear model railroad layouts. Dave tells how (and why) he built dominos for his HO scale layout, and demonstrates their role in layout planning.

Cooking - Something Unknown (Non-Rail) 
George Drury 
A rail tour leader and author of several European rail travel guidebooks, George was a favorite at our last convention, returns to present a fabulous cooking clinic that you won't want to miss. What is he going to demonstrate? Right now it's even a surprise to us.
North Dakota Railroads: Prototype and Model 
Cody Grivno 
Cody, an assistant editor with Model Railroader, will talk about railroads that operate in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. He'll show you the various equipment owned by these railroads and offer some modeling tips.

A retired associate editor of Model Railroader, Jim will share his tips and building techniques with styrene, wood, paper, and metal.

Jason Davis 
Jason, owner of Resin Unlimited, the manufacturer of resin vehicles and boats, shows how to build and detail some of his kits, including preparation and assembly techniques, basic painting and detailing, and the simple kitbashing that can be done to further enhance the vehicles.

Through the use of historic photos, Bob Wundrock will give an overview of the once vast Milwaukee Electric Railway system. Then Bob will journey to various Milwaukee and Ozaukee County locations looking for remnants of the system.

Layout Planning for the North Shore's Mundelein Branch 
Bill Schaumburg 
Bill, the editor of Railroad Model Craftsman, grew up in the Chicago area. He would often borrow his brother's camera and snap photos of the Chicago, North Shore & Milwaukee's Mundelein Branch with a future layout in mind. This clinic, complete with track plans and modeling tips, is the result.

John owns Depots by John which produces kits and custom scratchbuilds models. He has long had a keen interest in Milwaukee Road depots and will share prototype information and images of his exquisite models.

Keith is a noted Racine historian and will cover how the Racine Gas Works operated and how it was served by rail. He will also offer a few tips on modeling the manufactured gas industry, complete with a few views of a similar facility in Milwaukee.
