See the sights and hear the sounds that held the world in awe in the summer of 1969
as Neil Armstrong became the first human to set foot on another planet.

This screensaver is free for everyone to use. Distribute it freely.
Some of the images have small captions with mission facts/dates/times
near the bottom edge so it can be educational for school-age children.
Use the screensaver's "Settings" button to select the images as wallpaper.
The wallpaper images can be set to auto-rotate hourly, daily, or weekly.
You can also use the "Settings" button to disable the sounds.

Instructions for setting the wallpaper and sound options
are available on the Setting The Options page.

This screensaver is dedicated to the men of Mercury, Gemini, and
Apollo who risked their lives, and to the three astronauts of
Apollo 1 who gave their lives, so that America could accomplish
the greatest achievement of mankind.

- Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP
- 486 CPU
- 16 meg of RAM
- 2+ meg of free disk space
- Display properties set to 256 colors
The download file is a11setup.exe and is 2,061 Kbytes in size.
This file is not compressed so no uncompression steps are necessary.
The download time with a 56Kb modem connection to the Internet is approximately 6 to 8 minutes.
This free screensaver does not contain any adware or spyware components.

To download and install the screensaver:

Click on the button below to initiate the download.
If your browser pops up a dialog box with "Open" and "Save" options choose "Save".
When the "Save As" dialog box opens, choose any location (folder) on your hard-drive where the file can be saved temporarily (remember this location) and click on the "OK" button.
When the download is complete, go to the location where you saved the file and double-click on it to install the screensaver.
