Oatmeal GingerSnaps
1-1/2
c. flour
1
c. sugar
3/4
c. quick oats
1
teas. baking soda
1
teas. ground ginger
1/4
teas. ground cloves
1/2
c. shortening
1/4
c. molasses
1
egg
sugar
Stir
together first 6 ingredients and 1/4 teas. salt.
Blend
in shortening, molasses, & egg;
beat
well with electric mixer for 2 min.
Form
into 1-inch balls.
Roll
in sugar and place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake
@ 375' for 8-10 minutes.
