Risen Savior Lutheran Church and School is located on Milwaukee's northwest side. We are celebrating 35 years of God's continuing grace as a church. Our theme is Different Histories--One Future. With all the different backgrounds in our cross-cultural congregation--we have many different histories as Caucasians, African-Americans and Hispanics. But as fellow believers who are united in Christ-- we have only one future. We seek to share God's Word and put Christ's love into action in our community and around the world. We are proud to be part of a much bigger church body called the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. We gather around God's Word as friends, grow in faith together, and share God’s love through the faithful teaching of God’s Word and administering of his sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper. Our aim is to serve the community with the message that God gives people heaven through faith in Jesus Christ. We continue to invest in our neighborhood through the unique combination of an outreach school, multiple services and wrap-around ministries to meet the needs of our neighborhood. We invite you to join us in growing in the joy and peace of the Christian faith and life that comes from believing what Jesus said, "Because I live, you also will live.” (John 14:19) We are glad if you would stopped by to learn more about Jesus Christ. We hope you also will get to know us a little better. We’d appreciate sharing what fills us with joy about proclaiming Jesus Christ, who died and rose again, to our community.
