Opportunities for Bible Study

Risen Savior offers a wide variety of Bible classes for everyone. We have Bible Classes different days of the week, taught in different styles and even offered at different locations. Pick classes that interest you and fit your schedule and style. Check out all of the opportunities you'll have to be nurtured and to grow in your personal faith life.

Why Crave Formal Bible Study?

Jesus declares, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.” (John 6) God promises us that he will provide the spiritual food for his flock. That food is found between the covers of our Bibles. If it is true that our faith in Jesus is nourished as we study God’s Word – and it is – then God’s Word is the most important thing that a Christian can feast upon. The Psalmist gives the proper attitude towards spiritual food when he writes, “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Ps. 119:103) Bible study, whether at home or at church, is time very well spent. That’s what we want to do every week this year -- spend time in his Word.

During the course of the year, we will study the Bible in many ways. We will study topics, specific books and current concerns.

Regular adult Bible Class is offered at Risen Savior every Sunday from September to May from 9:15 AM - 10:05 AM.

What if I can't study on Sunday mornings?  Here are some options:

MOM AND TOTS
Mothers with children (who are not yet school age) meet at 9:30 AM on 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings (September through May) at Risen Savior’s Community Center (basement) for Bible study, fellowship and sharing. For information contact Wendy Heyn at (414) 527-1757.

MEN'S BREAKFAST BIBLE STUDY
September to May on the 1st and 3rd Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. at Luther Haven in the garden room. It is led by Pastor Fisher and covers about a chapter each time we meet.
