AN ETERNAL SENIOR MOMENT

“Like a lamb that was lost from the flock, I also was lost.” -- Dale Kueck wrote in his papers for his funeral.

Dale Kueck moved to Luther Haven (a nearby senior retirement center) in 2004; he had left the church in the 1970s and was resistant to any efforts to return to the Lord’s fold. The residents at Luther Haven and members of Risen Savior soon changed that.

The loving encouragement and admonition of our senior Christians helped direct Dale back to his Savior. Dale expressed his heartfelt thanks for these efforts while preparing his funeral plans: “What a privilege to attend services with fellow believers . . . I understood the joy of giving and the satisfaction of serving the Lord.”

We can be certain that Dale is now giving eternal thanks for his salvation to His God in heaven and for those who brought him back into his Savior’s loving arms.
