To promote wellness of body, mind and spirit among the members of Risen Savior Congregation and the community we serve in a Health Care Ministry Program coordinated by a Parish Nurse.

WHAT IS HEALTH CARE MINISTRY?

Risen Savior's Health Care Ministry encourages God’s people to recognize their bodies as gifts from God, and themselves as stewards of those gifts through wellness education.

They meet the spiritual, physical and / or mental needs of others when they are hurting or suffering.

They provide the opportunity to have another walk along side a “Child of God” experiencing crisis, isolation or loss.

They reach out to the community to “carry each others burdens and fulfill the law of Christ.”

WHY HEALTH CARE MINISTRY?

Risen Savior is concerend about the whole person -- spiritually and physically. As the Apostle John said, "If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." (1 John 3:17-18).
