OPPORTUNITIES TO WORSHIP AND GROW

Risen Savior Lutheran Church is a friendly, caring community of believers that confesses that God speaks to his people through his timeless Word. We pray that we can serve you with the only reliable guide we have for everything we face in life and death.

Here as some of our many programs and services:

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
Every Sunday morning at 8 AM and 10:30 AM we gather to lay the burden of our sins at the cross of Christ and find strength to face the challenges of life in his forgiveness.

ADULT AND TEEN BIBLE CLASS
Study Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:05 AM, September to May for spiritual growth to adults through the Bible study and a separate class for teenagers.

GRADE SCHOOL
Risen Savior Lutheran School (K4 to 8th grade). Learn about how we offer a loving, safe environment with solid academics. Our program is part of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program. For more information or to schedule a visit, please contact the principal at (414) 354-7320 (school).

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
We conduct our children and youth ministry to help parents in their God-given command to "bring your children up in the training and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4).

BAPTISM
Risen Savior will offer (without cost or obligation) infant Baptism for those who desire to have their children baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for the forgiveness of sin. A brief class on the meaning, purpose and benefits of baptism is provided for the parent(s).

SUNDAY SCHOOL
From September to May we conduct a fun Sunday School (9 AM -10 AM).

YOUTH HAVEN
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Youth Haven is a welcome place on three afternoons a week from 4:30 - 6:00 PM where kids (ages 6-12) can learn, grow and play in a setting of Christian love. For more information, contact Ms. Ernestine Goodlow, at (414) 354-7320. Free.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Summer
For one week in the evenings from 6:00-8:30 PM during the summer we schedule an evening of learning, crafts, meal, songs and Bible lessons for the whole family. There is no cost.

BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS
We gladly conduct "no obligation" classes designed to share with non-members the basic teachings of God's Word as confessed by the Lutheran Church. Learn how God's Word answers life's problems. Available several times each year, call for specifics.

PASTORAL, CARE MINISTRY AND COUNSELING
Should you or someone you know be in need of spiritual assistance or counseling, our pastor is most willing to serve in any way that is consistent with his office. You may contact him at the church office (414) 354-7320 during the week. We also have a Care Coordinator who can help in meeting spiritual, physical and/or mental needs of others when they are hurting or suffering.

VIDEO AND AUDIO SERVICES AVAILABLE
Videotapes and audiocassettes of Risen Savior's services are available to those who are unable to attend worship. Please contact the church office (414) 354-7320 for more information.

PREGNANCY INFORMATION CENTER
Associate Pregancy Services provides free testing, solid answers and real hope at Risen Savior's Pregnancy Information Center. For more information or an appointment, call (414) 727-8177.

TROUBLE HEARING OR SEEING?
Risen Savior offers large-print hymnals and a hearing- enhancement system to those who desire such assistance.

FOOD PANTRY
Knowing that sometimes, for reasons beyond their control, people need some assistance with basic grocery items, the congregation maintains a food pantry with a limited supply of food for this purpose. It also gives the congregation the opportunity to share the good news of eternal life in Jesus. It is usually open to the community on the first and third Sunday of each month from 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM.
