I use a Dell 730 H2C, 45nM, overclocked to 3.67 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, 1 TB hard drive computer networked with my second computer Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz processor with 2 GB of RAM,  and the following programs:

SPAM, VIRUS,  TRACKING, SPYWARE AND BOTS SOFTWARE

Newsgroups (aka Usenet) are an important source of active email addresses for spammers. "Harvesting Software" scans all groups and grabs the addresses of posters. If you post a message on a newsgroup using your real address, you can be sure that you will get spam.

Spammers also use software to search the web for email addresses posted on websites. If you post your email address in plain text on your website, it is only a matter of time before this software finds it.

I use the FireTrust Pro ( MailWasher Pro ) to rid myself of SPAM,   McAfee AntiVirus and Ad-Aware to stifle all known datamining, aggressive advertising, and tracking components.    I update my software  on Friday to keep me well ahead of the hackers.  I also use RegSeeker to rid myself from registry misguided entries and the best disk defragmenter software from Raxco.
