I use a Dell  Studio XPS 9100 i7 Core, 3.6 GHz CPU with 12 GB of RAM, 2 Tb hard drive,  XPS 730 H2C, 45nM, overclocked to 3.67 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, 1 Tb hard drive computer  with a Studio XPS i7 Laptop,  and the following programs:

ZBrush 4.0, Lightwave 10, Coral Painter 12, Carrara Pro 7,  Hexagon 2.5,  Vegas Pro 11.0, DVD Architect 4.5,  MonkeyJam

SPAM, VIRUS,  TRACKING, SPYWARE AND BOTS SOFTWARE

Newsgroups (aka Usenet) are an important source of active email addresses for spammers. "Harvesting Software" scans all groups and grabs the addresses of posters. If you post a message on a newsgroup using your real address, you can be sure that you will get spam.

Spammers also use software to search the web for email addresses posted on websites. If you post your email address in plain text on your website, it is only a matter of time before this software finds it.

You can look up "HARVESTING SOFTWARE" on Google.

I use McAfee AntiVirus to stifle all known datamining, aggressive advertising, and tracking components.    I also use Uniblue Registry Booster to rid myself from registry misguided entries and the best disk defragmenter software from Raxco.
