Simple Sentence Structure

Subject-Verb-Object

We have moved to HERE

Are you working with children who have a core vocabulary of nouns and verbs but are having difficulty conveying meaning? This program helps children understand the importance of Subject-Verb-Object work order.

Word order makes a difference. Many children with language impairments have persistent problems with word order processing and production. This pioneering language intervention program addresses these problems using strategies derived from linguist Noam Chomsky's revolutionary principles and parameters model of language acquisition. Simple sentence structure assists children with language disorders to correctly set universal word word parameters to their English subject verb object word order setting..

Here's how it works... Simple sentence structure highlights the roles of subjects, verbs, and objects in sentences. Two pictures appear on the screen and the child is asked to choose the picture that illustrates a particular sentence. Children work through four sentence sets: contrasting verbs, contrasting objects, contrasting subjects, and finally, subject to/object reversal.

six levels of training. This program contains an animated game that vividly introduces the concepts, four levels of instruction for each sentence set, and pay into a test for pre -- and post -- testing. At each level, the program has varying amounts of instruction, cueing, and feedback to accommodate a wide range of learners.
