Skeeter’s Racing League 2007  http://my.execpc.com/~lthansen/

Official Rules:

-         $25 per person

-         This league will have weekly winners (36), a 1st half winner, a 2nd half winner, and an overall champion.

-         Plus additional bonus to 5 winners of select races.

How to Play:

-         Each player will have 5 drivers + 1 winning pick.

-         Pick one driver from each of the five groups.  These groups are determined by the finishing order of the PRECEDING race.  The groups are positions 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25.

-         All players must also pick a winner for that event.  The winning pick can come from any of the starting positions for that race.

-         The finishing order of each of these 5 drivers will be added together to determine a weekly score.  The player with the lowest score will win that week.

-         Tie breaker-The player who’s winning pick finishes best wins.  However if a tie still remains the money will be split evenly.

-         Daytona 500 Race pick sheet for Daytona 500 will be based on the top 25 in points for 2005.  Refer to our web page for “official” pick list.  Some driver numbers have changed from last year.

-         All picks must be submitted to Todd Hansen by Thursday night, 9:00 pm, unless otherwise notified.  In all cases picks must be in before qualifying.   NOTE:  Picks for Daytona 500 must be in before the start of the race.   Email to  lthansen@execpc.com

-         It is each players’ responsibility to have their picks called in on time.  Failure to do so will not disqualify you for the entire season, but will give you last place points +1 for your five picks.  This will not keep you from winning further weekly events, but will seriously damage your chances at the Championship.

-         In the unfortunate event that a player’s pick does not qualify or fails to start the race, they will receive last place points +1 for that pick.  In most cases will be 44 points.

-         Players will accumulate points each week toward the Championship.

-         The player with the lowest overall point total at the end of race 36 will be the champion.  The money will be split in the unlikely event of a tie.

-         The season will be split into 2 halves of 18 races each.  The sum of these two seasons will determine the overall champion.

-         Official race results are taken from nascar.com.  Also, please check your scores to help eliminate any possible errors.

-         Any questions regarding scoring or rule interpretations should be emailed to Todd for official ruling.

-         REMEMBER: This is fun! Don’t take it too seriously
