Milwaukee Shambhala Training: Meditation

[Home Page] [Home Selector]

The Shambhala teachings present the wisdom of meditation and basic humanity in a non-religious, non-sectarian context.

The key to warriorship and the first principle of Shambhala vision is not being afraid of who you are. Shambhala vision teaches that, in the face of the worlds great problems, we can be heroic and kind at the same time. Chogyam Trungpa, from The Sacred Path of the Warrior
Shambhala Training was founded by the renowned Tibetan Buddhist meditation master Chogyam Trungpa. The practice of mindfulness-awareness meditation taught at Shambhala Training enables us to look precisely at our state of mind without trying to alter it. The practice cultivates openness toward ourselves and our environment, moment by moment.
