architectural projects and art work. this selection of architectural projects
represents riccardo liotta's work during his college years. his work stems
from an interest in physics and mathematics, which in different ways has
always been a driving force. art is also an important element that has shaped
these projects, especially the abstract art of the beginning of the twentieth
century, such as futurism, rayonnism, constructivism, suprematism and cubism.
his art work, which expresses this interest, is a combination of computer-generated
images and traditional acrilyc and colored pencil work. this is related
to his architectural projects and is derived from a variety of different
architectural images which are complexly deformed into dynamic/abstract
images or reduced to basic yet powerful geometrical shapes.
