On the digital side, we have 40 tracks of tape based Alesis ADAT, 20 BIT Type II decks complete with the BRC remote controller. As a member of the ADAT
worldwide network, and due to the flexible format, we are able to take other studio's tapes for extra tracking, remixing and post production work. The new ADATS accept both the older Type I 16 BIT tape as well as the new Type II 20 BIT. With the new O2R ROM version, we can also do 16 track tape based 24 BIT recording. DIGITAL AUDIO WORKSTATION
Nexus is the first studio in the region to acquire Digidesigns ProTools III digital audio workstation, complete with Digidesigns ADAT optical digital interface. This enables us to do everything from digitally fly back and forth from our ADATS and do
precision cut and paste and processing and send it back to ADAT tape without degradation, completely in the digital domain, as well as enable
another 16 tracks of digital audio to lock up at sample accuracy, giving us a total of 56 digital tracks!
ANALOG AND DIGITAL 2 TRACK SYSTEMS
Again, for your convenience, we have both professional 1/4" analog reel to reel with full dbx type I as well as 4 DAT decks. If you want a digital
backup of your master DAT tape, we can do digital tape to tape duplicating for you. CD MASTERING and DIGITAL EDITING
With our computer based digital audio workstation and our own CD cutter, we can create a CD master that is suitable for manufacture, or just cut one for you to take home after your mix. This allows you to preview what your CD will sound like at home prior to manufacture and have the confidence that the product you send out will be to your liking, as the CD you take home is THE master and the manufactured version will be identical. MULTIMEDIA
Nexus has become a pioneer locally on this level. We will be one of the first studio's anywhere offering a mix mode CD ROM / Audio CD. With our
Radius Video Vision Video capture card, we can transfer video directly off tape and do non-linear editing to provide QuickTime movies to be used in
your CD ROM presentation. CD MANUFACTURING

Production is a natural progression for any good studio engineer, and with almost 14 years as a business and 20 years of experience, Nexus is becoming a top production house in the area. STUDIO MUSICIANS
Over the years many of the areas top musicians have done projects or worked on projects at Nexus, which has created an enormous database of
people that we can contact to work on your project, that have themselves had years of studio work under their belt. Nexus only will book in a musician
that it has worked with while on your time, and will make you aware of anyone who has not been in for a session. All musicians that Nexus refers for a
