For over FIVE years now, this site has been dedicated to promoting and providing information about this most unique and impressive Dutch actor. Derek de Lint's career includes such films as Soldaat van Oranje (Soldier of Orange), De Aanslag (The Assault), Stealing Heaven (as Abelard), The Unbearable Lightness of Being and TV series such as China Beach (Dr. Bernard) and Poltergeist: The Legacy as the lead character, Dr. Derek Rayne. The de Lint family have known about this site practically from the beginning and occasionally check the guestbook and discussion board (read transcript) so feel free to publicly post your comments in either or both locations (c'mon, don't be shy now!) This site had the first web pages, pics, discussion mailing list & discussion board, chatroom, calendar, guestbook, polls (old), wallpaper, video ordering for NTSC & PAL, and best of all, apparently the thanks of the actor (read chat transcript), which is greatly appreciated. :-) The idea for this site was born out of my own curiosity and inability to find out (from one convenient location, back in the Summer of '96) all the movies and television programs Derek de Lint had been in and a little biographical info. Please feel free to ask me any questions or send me links or information (but please, no private info that should not be public) you have regarding Derek to better help those who want to know more about his career.
