The Prairie House, offers fifty-one spacious, attractive, and fully appointed rooms. Room choices include a special deluxe room, four units designed for families or groups, rooms especially for handicapped guests, and non-smoking rooms.
All rooms are larger than average, and have been attractively decorated in soft colors and rich fabrics to provide a comfortable, "just like home" atmosphere. Prairie House amenities include a large recreation area with game room, sauna, whirlpool, and a fully equipped exercise room. The atrium features comfortable seating where guests may gather for games, cards, or relaxed conversation.
Excellent restaurants are within walking distance of the Prairie House; the area's major attractions are only a short driving distance. The Prairie House, designed by a former Taliesin associate, reflects the "prairie house" architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, who grew up, lived, worked, and taught near Spring Green. We've paid tribute to his genius by emphasizing aesthetics
... special fabrics and colors, firm mattresses, rich carpeting, and solid furniture crafted from winter mountain ash. For a personal touch, we've added original artwork including photographs of special local scenes.
Guest rooms are available with your choice of one queen, two doubles, or two queen beds. Rooms include cable TV and direct dial phones. We provide our guests with complementary coffee, tea, and ice.

The Prairie House Gift Shop offers visitors a glimpse of unique local and regional hand-crafted items, shirts, and postcards. Stop in when you arrive, browse at your convenience during the day, or stop on your trip to the lobby for your complementary morning coffee or tea.
