ABERDEEN OB-LA-DI OB-LA-DA

Yup.  It´s another one of those hairy hounds.  After waiting for two years, we finally were blessed with this cutie-pie.  He´s our first otterhound boy---we hope he doesn´t outgrow our flap doors!!  Reed plans to be the one to escort Desmond in the show ring. 

NEWS FLASH!  Desi has been stolen from us by his breeder, Andy McIlwaine of Aberdeen Otterhounds.  They offered to have their vet look at a problem he was having.  We agreed, and now they refuse to return him to us or provide us with any of the medical records we have requested.  In fact, they never took him to their vet, but sent him to live with another person who also refuses to release him to us.  The information they have given us is conflicting.  A WORD OF CAUTION - request references when purchasing a puppy.  Just because a person is involved in showing does not mean they are trustworthy!

UPDATE ON DESI!  Although we very much want Desi to be a part of our family, it became evident that his breeder was never going to let us have him back, although he was clearly our dog.  We were able to communicate with his caretakers, who proved to be very nice, caring people who appeared to genuinely care for Desi.  We decided to transfer ownership of Desi directly to his caretakers.  Desi is now enjoying life in Texas.
