The 2001 season in Jackson may have been our final one there. There were only 6 teams in the league and only three of them were any good.
Even though we led wire to wire and finished with a 12-3 record, we finished in a three way tie for first. Subsequently, I lost a coin flip and we were the # 3 seeded team going into the playoffs. In disappointing fashion we lost the second place game and our season ended. I also tore ligaments in my right knee in the sixth inning of that game in the outfield. As you can see below, we had some outstanding individual seasons led by Larry's unconscious year. Not to mention the entertainment value he and Dish brought to the team this year. Several individual season records were set by various players this year. I will have a records page compiled soon. We will probably look to play elsewhere next year. Thanks to Eddie for designing our jerseys this year.
